Return Policy and Customer Satisfaction
Our customer service is
based on customer satisfaction. Rest assured that if we make a
mistake, we will fix it at no cost to the customer. We process
thousands of orders every year, and mistakes are bound to happen. We
are still made up of hardworking people, not computers picking and
processing orders. We have an excellent customer satisfaction rate in
over 21 years of business, over 11 years online. Remember, if we make
the mistake, we pay for everything.
SOME DESIGNS MAY
VARY FROM WHAT IS SHOWN
Some merchandise
(particularly team merchandise) styles vary and we try very hard to
keep up with the changes on our web site. For instance, a particular
team may authorize two different versions of their embossed aluminum
team license plate. We will try to offer both, but sometimes the
products move too fast, to make the changes before we start shipping
the new product. Sometimes we only picture one plate, because we
don't know what the team will make available at any given time. Since
we carry almost all teams for the major professional sports, we try to
keep up with the over 450 licensed products and over 2600 online
products we carry. To help keep our low prices, we reserve the right
to substitute a product of similar style, depending on availability.
If it is important that you receive the product exactly as
pictured, please email us to check availability after you order it.
(If it's not available, we can cancel your order at no cost or
obligation to you.)
If you receive a product
that has been substituted and are not happy with the substitution,
please email us and we will try to honor your request. Because the
teams ultimately control what is available, we will let you know if
the product you expected is still available. If it is still
available, we will ship the replacement product within one business
day of receiving the substituted product from you. If the product you
wanted is not available and you do not want the substitution, we will
issue you a refund on the purchase price after receiving the
originally shipped product in new, unopened condition. If a customer
emailed us their preference at the time they ordered and we did not
ship the correct product, we will pay the postage for the return of
the item received in error. If the customer did not email us with
their preference when the product was ordered, the customer is
responsible for return shipping costs. We will pay all shipping costs
for replacement products we send, but are unable to refund shipping
expenses on orders already sent.
WE ONLY SELL NEW
MERCHANDISE
We only sell new, unused
merchandise. You will never receive a product from us that has ever
been installed or used. We sometimes run scratch and dent sales, and
merchandise sold scratch and dent or clearance are sold "as is".
Every effort is made to advise our customers they are purchasing
something that may have a few imperfections and what those
imperfections are by having accurate descriptions of our products. By
virtue of shipping and handling, some products get scratched, even
though the original plastic wrapper or bagging is not broken. We
carefully inspect all merchandise before shipping and do not ship
anything we consider to be "excessively scratched". If you receive a
product you feel is not up to your standards, please email us. We can
improve, only if we know a problem exists.
WARRANTY
Our license plates and
frames are designed for novelty use and are not authorized to replace
state or county issued license plates. We suggest our customers check
with state, county or local law enforcement prior to ordering to
ensure our products can be legally displayed on motor vehicles.
License plates are designed for states that do not require a front
license plate, and license plate frames should be checked to ensure
they do not cover the registration sticker that is required on many
state issued license plates. We make no claim, whether expressed or
implied, that our products are allowed on motor vehicles in every
state.
Our products are sold with a
warranty against manufacturer's defects for 14 days from the date of
purchase.
We have different
quality standards depending on the type of product sold:
Hand painted airbrush
license plates: Because many of our license plates are hand painted,
they may contain what some may consider "irregularities." It may be a
minor paint run, paint overlap, or other such minor imperfection. On
individually hand-made plates, these are considered normal and
characteristic of an authentic, hand made product. If the
imperfection affects the appearance of the license plate, we will not
ship it out! If the run is a large paint splotch and would make the
license plate look like a "second", we will not sell it. We take
great pride on the quality of product we sell.
Machine or computer
painted airbrush license plates: We hold these plates to a higher
standard, since the "human factor" has been removed. These plates
should have fewer runs or paint imperfections.
Many license plates look
different under incandescent or florescent lights when compared to
when it is mounted on the vehicle. Extremely small imperfections will
disappear when the plate is viewed as if it were mounted on a
vehicle. We always recommend customers place the plate (or frame)
where it is to be mounted before removing from the clear plastic
wrapping, just to get a feel for what it will look like. This is also
a good time to inspect the product for imperfections that may require
our attention.
Normally we don't issue
refunds - we usually make the customer happy with the product they
want. If a customer receives a product they feel is defective,
email us. We will provide a return authorization number to the
customer and replace the product with the following conditions:

Depending on the item
and the amount of damage, we may request the defective/damaged
product be returned to us.

We will provide an
exact replacement product when possible.

If item has been
discontinued or no longer available, we will email the customer so
we may exchange it for a similar design or style, or issue a refund.
When returning any
product, please remember:

All returned products
be in the original, unopened, clear wrapper. Open merchandise is
not returnable.

The post office
has instructions to return merchandise to the sender that does not
have a return authorization number, so make sure the authorization
number is clearly marked on the front of the package.

Product must be
returned to us properly packed. We cannot extend refunds on
products that are returned by customers if the product is received
as damaged. Customer has the responsibility of returning undamaged
products to us, just as we have a responsibility to ship undamaged
products to them.

Purchase of insurance
is recommended to prevent any discrepancy on returned products.
If the reason for the
return is our fault:

Customer is
responsible for shipping costs to return the product to us. We
recommend the U.S. Post Office, either Priority Mail or 1st Class
Mail and suggest the purchase of insurance on all merchandise
returned to us.

We cannot reimburse
for "next day air" costs associated with some parcel delivery
services because the cost of the shipping is frequently more than
the cost of the product.

We will pay the return
postage of the replacement product to the customer.

Under certain
circumstances, we may, at our option, offer to refund the customer's
money and not require an exchange.
