Personalization Facts

No company makes all the products they sell and we are no different. Some plates we offer are airbrush plates manufacturered by other companies. We have been in the license plate business for over 17 years, and over 7 years on the Internet. We have tried all the different forms of lettering, and here's why we prefer the vinyl over the other methods of personalization.

OUR PHOTO PLATES AND CUSTOM PLATES MADE ON OUR PREMISES DO NOT USE SELF ADHESIVE LETTERING LIKE WE USE ON OTHER COMPANY'S AIRBRUSH PLATES. ON OUR PLATES, THE LETTERING IS ACTUALLY PART OF THE DESIGN.

Engraved lettering	Pros	Permanent personalization
	Cons	Plates can only be engraved straight across; personalization can never be changed; fonts are limited; doesn't allow for images to be put on plates; lettering color is always silver because the paint is "etched" away
Vacu-form lettering	Pros	Plates can be personalized at angles; personalization is easy to change
	Cons	Fonts are limited; doesn't allow for images to be put on plates; plastic with lettering fades after about 2 years which makes plate difficult to read; lettering looks cheap
Airbrushed lettering	Pros	Stylish; plates can be personalized at angles
	Cons	Final product is limited to proper preparation of license plate and ability of airbrush artist; don't know what personalization will look like until after the plate is done; personalization is permanent and cannot be changed
Glued on lettering	Pros	Plates can be personalized at angles
	Cons	Plastic letters glued to a metal license plate don't stay on; fonts are limited; doesn't allow for images to be put on plates; lettering looks cheap
